The World ReliefCorporation oftheNationalAssociation of Evangelicals has partnered with Modesto Junior College (MJC) tooffercitizenship instruction and naturalization application servicesto address its needs in the Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR)community. There are approximately 27,000 LPRs in and around Stanislaus County, predominantlyfrom Mexico, Central and South America, as well as a recent influx of refugees hailing from Afghanistan, Syria and Ukraine.World Relief is an experienced immigration legal service provider since 1987while Modesto College hasoffered citizenship instruction since the 1980’s. Together, the organizations planto provide classes and file Form N-400s and G-28s for 120 LPRS with the FY24 grant. Citizenship and Integration Training Academy (CITA)
