Acerca de
Neighborhood House (NH) has been providing citizenship instruction and naturalization application services in Seattle and South King County, WA, since 1996. NH’s primary focus is on the region's largest LPR populations (primarily those from Afghanistan, Iraq, Burma, and Ethiopia), LPRs living in and near public housing communities, and those with the highest needs, e.g., low income, history of trauma, disabilities, and language barriers. NH was first awarded a USCIS grant in FY 2011. With USCIS FY 2022 funding, NH will provide citizenship instruction to 200 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 200 LPRs, and file 200 Forms N-400 and G-28.
