Journey’s End Refugee Services (JERS) in Buffalo, NY has been offering comprehensive English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction since 2010 and began offering citizenship preparation classes in 2019. Their lawful permanent resident (LPR) student population includes refugees, asylees, and immigrants. With USCIS FY 2024 funding, JERS will provide citizenship instruction to 200 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 200 LPRs, and file 200 Forms N-400 and G-28.
