JVS of MetroWest has been providing comprehensive vocational services since 1939. Annually, JVS helps over 4,500 individuals overcome barriers to employment related to age, ability, education, immigrant status, job skills, and language. JVS emphasizes immigrant integration through its refugee services, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, citizenship classes, ABE classes, job skills training programs with ESL components, and career guidance and placement, which collectively help approximately 1,000 immigrants and refugees annually. With USCIS FY 2024 funding, JVS will provide citizenship instruction to 200 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 200 LPRs, and file 200 Forms N-400 and G-28.
