Friendly House provides citizenship preparation services for lawful permanent residents and opportunities for immigrants to integrate into American society. In the past five years, Friendly House has provided more than 2,000 LPRs with ESL and citizenship instruction. The program provides support to immigrants from diverse backgrounds so that they can make successful transitions into their new home. Friendly House proposes to expand and enhance its citizenship services by providing 200 unduplicated LPRs with citizenship instruction and 200 LPRs with naturalization application services in Maricopa County.
