Central American Resource Center (CARECEN) of California has provided immigration services since 1983. It will serve lawful permanent residents from Spanish-speaking countries, primarily those residing in Los Angeles County. CARECEN of California was first awarded a USCIS grant in FY 2017. With USCIS FY 2023 grant funding, CARECEN of California will provide citizenship instruction to 240 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 600 LPRs, and file 200 Forms N-400 and G-28.
