Acerca de

Catholic Migration Services (CMS) has been providing naturalization application services since its founding in 1971. CMS will partner with LaGuardia Community College’s Center for Immigrant Education & Training (LGCC), which has more than 10 years of experience providing citizenship instruction. CMS, with LGCC as sub-awardee, was first awarded USCIS grant funds in FY 2014. Together, both organizations serve predominantly low-income permanent residents from the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Haiti. With USCIS FY 2022 funding, CMS and LGCC will provide citizenship instruction to 200 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 200 LPRs, and file 200 Forms N-400 and G-28.
