Catholic Migration Services (CMS) and its partner, LaGuardia Community College (LGCC), have more than 60 years of combined experience providing immigration and education services to its immigrant population in Brooklyn and Queens. The LPR population originates from two dozen nations in Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia and Europe. LGCC will provide ESL and citizenship instruction to 200 LPRs during the two-year grant period while CMS’ robust legal team will provide 200 N-400 screenings and 200 N-400 filings.
