Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona (CCS) and sub-awardee Adult Basic Education for College and Career Division (ABECC) of Pima Community College will provide seamless, comprehensive citizenship acquisition services throughout Southeastern Arizona. ABECC has been providing citizenship instruction in Tucson, AZ, since 1997 and will handle the citizenship education component. CCS will provide naturalization services and lead the effort. CCS has provided naturalization application assistance to low-income new Americans for close to 40 years and has decades of history working with ABECC. With USCIS FY 2022 funding, CCS will provide citizenship instruction to 200 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 200 LPRs, and file 200 Forms N-400 and G-28.
