Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan (“CCSEM”) serves the six-county region of southeastern Michigan. Reflecting a profound respect for human life and a commitment to enhance family life, Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan (CCSEM) provides a wide variety of services, annually assisting more than 20,000 people of all faiths, races, and cultures. CCSEM has 12 locations serving residents in six counties. CCSEM was formed as a 501(c)(3) in 2012 through the voluntary merger of five county-based Catholic social services organizations. Through the Citizenship and Integration Training Academy (CITA) program, CCSEM aims to develop comprehensive citizenship education programming and naturalization application services for LPRs in its six-county region.
