BakerRipley’s Immigration & Citizenship Program (the Program) was established in 2006 to serve the Houston region’s LPRs and the immigrant community. The Program connects individuals to ESL- Citizenship classes, naturalization application assistance, classroom-based naturalization test prep, and prep for the USCIS interview - in a seamless, integrated sequence. Since 2008, BakerRipley has provided naturalization application services through direct legal representation and large-scale application assistance workshops under the guidance of attorneys and DOJ reps. First funded by USCIS in FY 2015, Baker-Ripley serves clients from over 15 different countries including Mexico, Honduras, and El Salvador. With USCIS FY 2022 funding, BakerRipley will provide citizenship instruction to 200 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 640 LPRs, and file 210 Forms N-400 and G-28.
