About

The Young Women’s Christian Association of Tulsa (YWCA Tulsa) has received funding from USCIS since 2009. It has more than 40 years’ experience serving immigrants and refugees, with 4,000 served annually. Its clients originate from more than 60 countries but are primarily from Central and South America, Burma, and the former Soviet Union. There are approximately 10,000 eligible LPRs in the Tulsa area and the YWCA is positioned to provide both citizenship instruction and naturalization application services. It plans to enroll 200 students and provide naturalization services to 200 LPRs during the 2024 grant cycle.
