The International Rescue Committee, Inc., in Wichita (IRC Wichita) provides low cost-immigration legal assistance to immigrants in the state of Kansas. Each year in Sedgewick County, IRC Wichita submits approximately 800 immigration applications to USCIS. As demand is high for citizenship services, the office will carry out successful and recurrent citizenship instruction and naturalization and integration services within the lawful permanent resident (LPR) community. With USCIS FY 2024 funding, IRC Wichita will provide citizenship instruction to 160 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 160 LPRs, and file 160 Forms N-400 and G-28.
