About
Mid-Minnesota Legal Assistance (MMLA) has provided naturalization application services in the metro area of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, primarily Hennepin and Anoka Counties, including the City of Minneapolis, since 2001. MMLA's sub-awardee, Minneapolis Public Schools Adult Education (MPS-AE), is one of the largest Adult Basic Education programs in the state of Minnesota and has provided ESL instruction since 1977. MPS-AE has provided citizenship 9 instruction to the community since 1989. Through this grant, MMLA will provide naturalization application services to 180 LPRs and MPS-AE will provide citizenship instruction to 180 LPRs.
