About
Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund (LALDEF) has been offering immigration services since it was established in 2004. LALDEF has provided citizenship instruction classes, ESL, and naturalization application services for low-income Hispanic/Latino immigrant community in Mercer County, NJ, since 2020. FY 2022 is the first year that LALDEF has been awarded a USCIS grant. With USCIS FY 2022 funding, LALDEF will provide citizenship instruction to 120 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 120 LPRs, and file 120 Forms N-400 and G-28.
