About

The Jewish Vocational Service of MetroWest (JVS), has been providing citizenship instruction to immigrants in northern New Jersey since 1994. Since 2016, JVS has worked in partnership with sub-awardee Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark (CCAN) to deliver a comprehensive citizenship preparation program that also includes naturalization application services. JVS received their first USCIS grant in FY 2010. With USCIS FY 2022 funding, JVS will provide citizenship instruction to 180 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 180 LPRs, and file 180 Forms N-400 and G-28.
