About
The Jewish Family and Community Services (JFCS) and its sub-awardee, Literacy Pittsburgh (LP), have been working together to provide naturalization application services and citizenship education to LPRs in western Pennsylvania and West Virginia since receiving their first USCIS grant in 2014. JFCS, with more than 85 years of experience providing immigration-related legal services, provides all naturalization application services. LP, with more than 20 years’ experience providing citizenship education, will provide ESL/citizenship classes. With USCIS FY 2022 funding, JFCS and LP will provide citizenship instruction to 200 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 250 LPRs, and file 220 Forms N-400 and G-28.
