About
Since 1977, Instituto del Progreso Latino (Instituto) has supported Hispanic immigrants and their families on the Southwest Side of Chicago. Through its Fast Track to Citizenship program, an ESL and naturalization service initiative, Instituto will offer citizenship instruction to beginning and intermediate level English speaking LPRs. Instituto was first awarded a USCIS grant in FY 2011. With FY 2023 grant funding, Instituto plans to enroll 420 permanent residents in citizenship classes and provide 600 permanent residents with naturalization application services. 6
