About

The Haitian Americans United for Progress (HAUP) has 8 years’ experience providing ESL and citizenship instruction and 30 years’ experience providing naturalization application services to immigrants. The agency serves low-income persons and persons with low educational attainment or literacy issues, with a focus on Caribbean immigrant populations. FY 2022 is the first year that HAUP has been awarded a USCIS grant. With USCIS FY 2022 funding, HAUP will provide citizenship instruction to 200 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 200 LPRs, and file 200 Forms N-400 and G-28.
