About
Goodwill Industries of Kansas (Goodwill) has been providing immigration services and citizenship instruction to immigrants and refugees since 2013. Goodwill provides immigrants and refugees with ESL/civics/citizenship education and assists students with information to help immigrant families navigate U.S. systems, such as schools, healthcare, and government agencies. With USCIS FY 2022 funding, Goodwill is implementing mobile citizenship classes for marginalized or underserved populations in Wichita by utilizing Goodwill’s recreational vehicle (RV) that is equipped with full computer technology and Internet. Goodwill’s program goal is to serve 220 participants over a two-year period with 10% of retained participants successfully completing the naturalization process at the close of the two-year period.
