About

Since 1995, the DOJ-recognized organization Chinese American Service League –(CASL), has created a pathway through U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to help LPRs prepare for citizenship and become engaged U.S. citizens, ready to exercise their rights and responsibilities. For over 28 years, CASL has provided ESL and citizenship classes to more than 5,850 LPRs, and has provided naturalization application, legal consultation, case management, and interpretation services to over 1,235 LPRs annually. Under the FY 2023 grant, the organization will provide citizenship instruction, naturalization eligibility screenings, and file Forms N-400 and G-28 for 180 LPRs.
