About
Since its inception in 2011, the Burmese American Community Institute Inc. (BACI) has served more than 25,000 individuals. BACI collaborates with community partners such as refugee resettlement agencies to improve newcomers’ ability to navigate and understand the naturalization process and the U.S. legal system. BACI was first awarded a USCIS grant in FY 2019. With USCIS FY 2024 funding, BACI will provide citizenship instruction to 240 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 600 LPRs, and file 560 Forms N-400 and G-28.
