About
The Asian Pacific Development Center (APDC) and sub-awardee, Catholic Charities of Denver (CCD) have partnered to create an integrated continuum of instruction and application services to assist community members in obtaining citizenship. APDC offers whole-health, integrated care services from pre-literacy classes to post-naturalization workshops. APDC has provided ESL services since 2003 and citizenship classes since 2010. APDC’s current programs reach over 1,000 students annually, and in FY 20-21, instructional hours reached 75,205. CCD assists clients in and around the Denver metropolitan area and provides services across the archdiocese, which encompasses all of northern Colorado from Rifle to Yuma. Clients unable to travel to Denver receive services virtually. With USCIS FY 2022 funding, APDC and CCD will provide citizenship instruction to 200 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 200 LPRs, and file 200 Forms N-400 and G-28.
