About
Catholic Charities Diocese of Rochester’s Catholic Charities Family and Community Services (CCFCS) has served the Greater Rochester community since 1917. CCFCS has been administrating citizenship programming including ESL/civics instruction and naturalization assistance consistently since 2013 and was awarded its first USCIS grant in FY 2015. The presence of many refugees and immigrants in Rochester and the Finger Lakes area drives the continued need for citizenship and integration services provided by CCFCS. With USCIS FY 2024 funding, CCFCS will provide citizenship instruction to 200 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 300 LPRs, and file 260 Forms N-400 and G-28.
