Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston has been providing immigration legal services since the inception of the St. Frances Cabrini Center for Immigrant Legal Assistance. Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston/Houston is partnering with Center for Career Transformation which has been providing citizenship instruction since 2018. Catholic Charities of Galveston-Houston in partnership with Center for Career Transformation aims to provide a continuum of service to support immigrants yearning to become citizens. With USCIS FY 2024 funding, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and its partner organization will provide citizenship instruction to 200 LPRs, administer naturalization eligibility screenings to 205 LPRs, and file 200 Forms N-400 and G-28.
